Venues on Gatherland use one of two booking modes. With instant book, your booking is confirmed as soon as payment succeeds. With host confirms, the host has 24 hours to accept; your slot is held meanwhile, and nothing is charged if the host declines.

Host confirms
- The host has 24 hours to accept or decline.
- The slot is held for you while you wait.
- If the host declines, you are not charged.
- If the host has not replied within 24 hours, contact us.
Other ways to ask for a venue
- Enquiry: for venues without instant booking, you can send the host an enquiry first.
- Name your price: post a date, group size and budget, and hosts can answer with offers.
- Concierge: for large or corporate events, use the concierge form.
