You pay the full amount online when you book. Instant book bookings are confirmed as soon as payment succeeds. For host confirms bookings, nothing is charged if the host declines.
Who holds the money?
After you pay, the platform holds the money and releases it to the host 48 hours after the booking ends.
How can I pay?
Gatherland takes online payment. Card details are handled by the payment provider, and the platform never stores full card numbers. For questions about which payment methods are accepted, contact us.
What do I see before I pay?
- The total for your slot and group. There is no booking fee: the total shown is what you pay.
- Any refundable security deposit the venue takes.
How do refunds work if I cancel?
How much you get back depends on the venue's cancellation policy, and refunds go back to your original payment method. See When will I get my refund?
