If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force at any time from three hours before the start of your booking until its start, you may cancel for a full refund or move the booking to another free slot at the same venue within 30 days. The host is not charged a cancellation fee in that case.
When does this apply?
Both of these must be true:
- Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force.
- It is in force at any time between three hours before your start and the start.
Example
Your booking starts at 2pm. If Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force at any time between 11am and 2pm, the rule applies.
Your options
- Cancel for a full refund, or
- Move the booking to another free slot at the same venue within 30 days.
What if the conditions are not met?
If the conditions above are not met, cancelling follows the venue's cancellation policy. If a signal or warning is issued during your booking, or you are unsure about your situation, contact us.
