Yes. If you cancel a booking as a host, the guest is refunded in full and you are charged a cancellation fee.
How much is the fee?
See the host terms for details. If you have a question, contact us.
Severe weather exception
If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force at any time from three hours before the start of a booking until its start, the guest may cancel for a full refund or move to another free slot at your venue within 30 days. You are not charged a cancellation fee in that case.
How to avoid cancelling
- Keep your calendar up to date, and use manual blocks for times you are not open.
- If you also take bookings elsewhere, sync with iCal import and export.
- If a booking time needs to change, message the guest first to discuss it.
Tip
For host confirms requests, you have 24 hours to decide. Don't accept until you are sure you can host.
