Portrait session selection and delivery log
Decide what the portraits are for before selecting final frames. A profile image, an editorial portrait and a group portrait can have different output requirements. Record the selected frame or file and the agreed editing note together. Keep personal preferences and any changes explicit rather than letting the editor infer them from a loose collection of favourites.
How to use it
- Record the intended use, orientation and delivery requirements agreed for the session.
- Identify each selected frame by the photographer’s actual file reference.
- Confirm the selection version and the editing notes before final delivery.

A favourite is not a delivery specification
The photographer needs to know which output the chosen frame will serve. Keep the intended crop and output requirement with the file reference. If you need several uses from one frame, list those uses without assuming one export fits all of them.
Keep selection changes in one record
If a selected frame changes, update the record and tell the person responsible for editing. Distinguish a replacement selection from an additional output. Agree how final files are delivered and reviewed; avoid putting private client details into a publicly shared selection sheet.
Continue planning
