Getting there
Admiralty is one of the Island's main interchanges, served by the Island Line, Tsuen Wan Line, South Island Line and East Rail Line. Guests can ride straight in on the Tsuen Wan Line from Kowloon, the East Rail Line from the New Territories East, or the South Island Line from Aberdeen and Ap Lei Chau.
Many bus routes stop here, including cross-harbour and south-side services. Covered footbridges link Admiralty with Central and Wan Chai, which helps on rainy days.
Most large office towers and malls have car parks, but traffic is heavy at peak times, so allow time to get in and out.
What venues are like here
Admiralty is dominated by Grade A offices, government buildings, malls and hotels. Venues are mostly meeting rooms, training rooms and multi-purpose event spaces inside office towers. They are usually well equipped, with projectors, whiteboards and video conferencing, and the look is businesslike.
Office towers usually require security registration or a side entrance at night and at weekends, so follow the host's entry instructions. Party-focused venues are relatively few.
What it's good for
- Meetings and training: easy for participants coming from Kowloon, the New Territories East and the south side. See Admiralty meeting rooms.
- Workshops and talks: well-equipped rooms for half-day or full-day sessions.
- After-work farewells: colleagues can head straight up after work and get home easily afterwards.
For more party room options, see Wan Chai and Central.

- If you need video conferencing, check the equipment and connection before booking.
