Host maintenance task log
Record the observed issue without diagnosing beyond what has been confirmed. Give the task an owner, a next action and a check that closes it. If an item or room feature is unavailable, keep that operational status visible in the inventory and the relevant booking information. This log coordinates work; specialist repairs belong with the appropriate provider.
How to use it
- Record the observed issue and affected item.
- Assign the next action and the current availability status.
- Close the task only after the agreed return-to-use check.

A report and a diagnosis are different
“The display did not show the test file” describes an observation. It does not establish why. Keep that distinction so the responsible provider has a clear report and the host does not publish an unverified repair claim.
Finish the operational update
A completed repair still needs the agreed functional check and an inventory update. Record who confirms return to use and whether the listing or booking information needs a correction. Keep the next check visible when continued observation is required.
Continue planning
- Host equipment inventory
Record what is actually provided, where it belongs and its current condition.
- Check venue equipment on arrival
Check agreed equipment and record issues before the activity begins.
- Venue listing photo coverage plan
Show the actual room, entrance and confirmed features a guest needs to assess.
