A 90-minute team activity programme
This illustrative programme divides 90 minutes between introductions, cooperative drawing, a break, a category challenge and a debrief. Adjust it to the room and participants. The activities support conversation; they are not an assessment of employee ability.
- Time
- 90-minute example; confirm setup access
- Participants
- Group size depends on the room and team
- Materials
- Paper, pens, prompt cards and suitable tables/chairs
How to use it
- Check whether access includes setup and cleanup and adapt the programme accordingly.

Before the session
Read both game guides and prepare their materials. Confirm seats, table space and access/handover times. Offer describing, note-taking or discussion roles when a participant prefers an alternative.
Keep time for reflection
Ask a specific question after each activity, such as which description was easiest to follow. Finish by recording practices the group wants to keep, without assigning conclusions to participants. Reduce rounds if needed rather than consuming the handover time.
Continue planning
- A cooperative drawing challenge
Use simple descriptions and shared drawing to build one picture, with original prompt cards.
- A quiet category challenge
Write answers to a shared category, then discuss overlaps and different interpretations.
- A gathering run sheet
Coordinate setup, activities and handover with timings and clear responsibilities.
- A cleanup and handover sheet
Assign cleanup tasks and check equipment and venue handover before leaving.
