How do I change the time or venue of a booking?

You can move a booking to another date or time at the same venue yourself, once, as long as you are still inside the venue's full-refund deadline. To change the venue, the length or anything else, cancel under the venue's cancellation policy and book again, or ask the host.

Option 1: change the time yourself

1. Open the booking in My bookings and choose Change time.
2. Pick a new date and start time. The length, group size and add-ons stay the same.
3. Confirm. The host is told straight away and your old slot opens up again.

This works when:

• the booking is confirmed and has not started;
• you are still within the full-refund deadline of the venue's cancellation policy (24 hours, 48 hours or 7 days before the start);
• the new slot is free and costs the same or less. If it costs less, we refund the difference to your original payment method;
• the booking has not been moved before, and was not booked from a host's price offer.

Option 2: ask the host

1. Message the host from your booking and explain the change you would like.
2. If the host agrees through messages, the booking can be changed as agreed.

Option 3: cancel and rebook

1. Check the venue's cancellation policy to see how much you would get back.
2. Cancel the booking. See How do I cancel a booking?
3. Search and book the new time or venue.

Your security deposit is always returned in full when you cancel.

Severe weather

If Typhoon Signal No. 8 or above, or a Black Rainstorm Warning, is in force at any time from three hours before your start until the start, you may cancel for a full refund or move the booking to another free slot at the same venue within 30 days.
